BESS Solutions
Battery energy storage organised by cooling technology. Choose immersion or liquid cooling, then the application: commercial and industrial cabinets or utility-scale battery containers.
Immersion or liquid cooling?
Both technologies use LFP cells in the main ranges and are offered for C&I cabinets and utility containers. The difference is where the heat is picked up.
| Design decision | Immersion Cooling | Liquid Cooling |
|---|---|---|
| Heat path | Cell surface to dielectric fluid | Cell to thermal interface to plate to coolant |
| Temperature uniformity | Broad fluid contact around each cell | Depends on plate contact and flow distribution |
| Electrical insulation | Insulating fluid surrounds the cells | Coolant stays inside a sealed plate circuit |
| Thermal propagation | Direct heat absorption helps limit propagation | Plate heat removal plus BMS and system protection |
| Service focus | Fluid condition, compatible seals, circulation | Coolant, pumps, seals, circuit integrity |
A configuration that is not listed?
Send us the rated power, the storage duration or usable energy, the connection voltage, the site, the operating mode and the cooling technology you prefer. ROCAS defines the system and the integration scope.
Discuss your project with ROCAS.
Power, capacity, site and timeline are enough to start. We reply with the right configuration and next steps.
