Data Center Development

ROCAS develops immersion-cooled data centers and AI campuses from the first site study to commissioning. Construction and commissioning are delivered with selected specialist partners, under ROCAS coordination.

01

Site & Feasibility

Site selection starts with power: available grid capacity, the connection route and its timeline. Land control, fiber access, the permitting path, climate and the business model are assessed before design begins.

  • Grid capacity and connection route
  • Land control and permitting path
  • Fiber access and network options
  • CAPEX, OPEX and revenue screening
02

Design & Engineering

Concept and detailed design of the building, the MEP systems, the electrical architecture and the immersion tank halls. Redundancy is defined against the client's availability targets, and heat reuse is considered from the start.

  • Building and MEP design
  • Electrical single-line and redundancy concept
  • Immersion tank layout and fluid systems
  • Heat reuse readiness
03

Power Infrastructure

The grid connection and the on-site power chain: substation, transformers, medium- and low-voltage distribution, with on-site PV and battery storage integrated where the project supports it.

  • HV/MV connection and substation
  • Transformers and MV/LV distribution
  • Integration of PV and BESS
  • Coordination with the grid operator
04

Construction

General contracting and EPC integration for the building, MEP, power and cooling works, with programme, cost, quality, safety and interface management under ROCAS coordination.

  • General contracting and EPC integration
  • Programme, cost and quality control
  • Health and safety management
  • Interfaces between specialist contractors
05

Commissioning

Staged testing, from individual equipment to integrated systems, including load-bank testing of power and cooling, before handover with complete documentation.

  • Factory and site acceptance tests
  • Integrated systems testing
  • Load-bank testing of power and cooling
  • Handover documentation and training

Discuss a data center project.

Power, capacity, site and timeline are enough to start. We reply with the right configuration and next steps.
